Horseplay fell at the first fence! A couple of days before the event we all got an email to tell us that the event was cancelled as the event field was waterlogged and they couldn't use it as a car park/event village/campsite etc.
I wasn't surprised, but was annoyed. I'd trained hard (maybe not hard enough - now I'll never know!) and was looking forward to the race. But it was not to be.
Ah well - next year!
